DOES WATER SPRAY OUT OF YOUR SHOWER DUE TO IT BEING OPEN CONCEPT?
Barely. A little mist does get out but we put down a regular bath mat right outside that helps. Also having a rain shower head in which the water falls straight down helps a lot!

WHY IS THE DECOR ON YOUR MAIN LEVEL DIFFERENT THAN THE REST OF YOUR HOME?
In the summer of 2016, my husband, Dan, got a new job back in his hometown. His mom passed away in 2010 and his dad had been living in their house all by himself since she passed. When he found out we were coming to town, he offered to let us move in with him. The decor you see, is my FIL’s. When we first moved in, we weren’t going to get rid of all of his stuff. He’s been kind enough to let us renovate the home (he still owns it) but there were certain rooms/things he just wasn’t ready to let go of yet and of course we totally respected that. The house needs a lot up updating and he knows it’s going to add value. It’s just taken him some time to get on board with some of the rooms! We’ve never done anything he wasn’t comfortable with and always respect his opinion.

It’s been a great situation for all of us – I get to do what I love and continue to grow my business – his house gets updated – and he gets to spend time with his grandchildren 🙂
