I recently decided to add a hanging planter above the window bench in our dining room so I thought I’d share some of the ones I found. Greenery is a great way to add a pop of color to a room – and hanging plants are a great way to do that in corners where a potted plant just doesn’t work.
MODERN HANGING PLANTERS
I’ve used hanging plants in a bunch of areas of our home that I’ll share first before getting to all the new ones I discovered. In our laundry room I hung this macrame planter I found on Amazon. The pot I found at a local garden center back in Erie.
Upstairs in our bathroom I used another macrame planter with a little concrete pot I found in the Target dollar spot.
One of my favorite hanging planters is this one I have in our kitchen that my friend Angie from Norwegian Wood makes. They come in black or brass and I just love their unique shape and large size.
Now for my new little guy! I really wanted a ceramic one and it was really hard finding a large one that wasn’t super expensive. I do wish it was a bit bigger but you can’t beat it for the price. I found this ceramic hanging planter at Urban Outfitters and it has a cute little leather strap to go with it.
I borrowed some fake branches from upstairs in our bedroom, but I think I want to get some pothos to put in it. Something I can’t kill 😉
As I was trying to find the perfect planter for this spot, I cam across quite a few that I thought were so cute. If you’re in the market – I hope this little round up is helpful!
And if you want to go the DIY route, you should totally check out my friend Ashley’s tutorial on how she made the cutest Mid Century Inspired Plant Hanger.
