Ok first of all, how in the heck is it already September?! I don’t know about you but I’m kind of excited for fall. I love summer and hate being cold, but there’s just something about the transition into the cooler temps that I love. BOOTS, SWEATERS, CANDLES AND EVERYTHING PUMPKIN PLEASE. Plus with this growing belly I’m all about baggy oversized tops with leggings.
And speaking of my belly – we’re just about 2 months away from meeting our little man. I feel like this pregnancy has flown by but I have a feeling the last stretch is going to go super slow. Which I’m totally ok with because we still have a lot to do. Like his nursery. We literally haven’t done a thing yet – except for me making a mood board. We’re converting our current spare room into his room and need to rip out the carpet and put in the same wood look tile that we used in our bedroom.
I also found an awesome dresser on craigslist to use for his changing table, but other than that we’ve got a long ways to go! I’ve been feeling pretty good, as I did with Eloise, so I can’t complain too much. It’s getting a little harder to get comfy at night but all in all I’ve been super lucky. Fingers crossed it stays that way for the remainder.
If you haven’t been around for a while or never read Eloise’s birth story you can check it out here. I ended up having an emergency c-section so I already have one scheduled for this babe. November 2nd is the big day which is scary and exciting all at the same time. I love knowing that he’ll be here on or before that day and won’t have to wait around like I did with Eloise. She was 11 days late! Little stinker.
Ok so you’re probably wondering what my apology is for and I feel so bad about it! I just realized yesterday that all the emails coming from the contact form on my blog were going into my spam folder. I had a ton of emails from people asking questions about our bathroom or decor as well as emails from brands/companies that wanted to work with me that I never saw. Ugh. And as I started going through them all I realized that if they had been in my spam folder for 30 days they automatically got deleted.
So if you emailed in the past 30 days you should have gotten a response last night, but if it was before that I have no way of seeing it. I have no idea how long this was going on for and I seriously feel so bad! So I’M SORRY! It’s fixed now so please don’t hesitate to send me another message or reach out directly to email@example.com or even through instagram where I spend most of my time 🙂
And one last update! I get tons of questions about where things in our home are from and I finally created a Shop Our Home page on my blog. You can find it HERE or in the menu at the top of my blog. I’ve set it up so you can shop by room and the links will take you right to the product so you can purchase them. Hopefully this is helpful for you guys!
Who has some fun Labor Day weekend plans? I’ll be laying low so tell me something exciting you’re doing so I can live vicariously through you!
