The Paint Breakdown

Date
Feb, 20, 2014

I’m no expert. Just a few days ago I’ll admit I had no idea what the difference was between enamel and latex paint. When I would buy paint for my projects, I would simply stare at all the selections for a good 10 minutes until one caught my eye, or take the recommendation of the store’s staff. Who hasn’t done that? I decided it was time to really do some research and figure out what my options were and what I should be using. The answer: there is no right answer. There are SO many paints out there and each one has it’s pros and cons. After reading tons of blogs and articles I was finally starting to understand a little more about the paint world. I made a little infographic to help decipher the differences and give you a look at the different properties and best uses for each one. I hope this is as helpful for you as it is for me!
